Your next client is asking ChatGPT.
Since August, OpenAI’s policy permits ads from law firms licensed where the ad is shown, approved case by case. We set it up in your firm’s name, prepare it for OpenAI’s review, run it, and bring every lead into your CG Intelligence Suite, labelled and scored.

Law firm ads, now permitted case by case.
Ads for legal advice, representation, or legal services offered to individuals or businesses are permitted in the US only when the advertiser is licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where the ad is shown. This includes services related to immigration, personal injury, legal claims, or document preparation.
v1.5 (August 2026): Updated to reflect that legal services are permitted in the US.
We may approve ads from approved advertisers within the financial services, healthcare & medicine, and legal services categories. These categories are being rolled out gradually with approvals being reviewed manually on a case-by-case basis.
- Who owns the ad account?
- Your firm. It carries your business details and your billing. We are added to manage it, the same way we work in your Google and Meta accounts.
- Does advertising change what ChatGPT says?
- No. OpenAI says ads do not influence ChatGPT’s answers, and ads are clearly labelled and kept apart from them. A place in the answer is earned by your web platform; the ad sits below it.
- Does OpenAI approve every firm?
- No. OpenAI approves legal advertisers case by case and reviews them by hand. We prepare your licence details and your landing page for that review; the approval is OpenAI’s decision.
- Who sees the ads?
- People in the US using ChatGPT where OpenAI shows ads, in the states where your firm is licensed. OpenAI decides when an ad is relevant to a conversation.
- How will I know it is working?
- Every ChatGPT lead lands in your CG Intelligence Suite with its label and score, and we read the results with you every month. It is a new channel: we treat the first weeks as a test, not a promise.
